Having an extra large sight picture can be very advantageous for quick target and sight acquisition and the 507 COMP has one of the largest in the industry. The 507 COMP can also be used for duty use, although that is fairly uncommon for an optic of this size. The RMR footprint makes this compatible with most full size handguns on the market. 

The reticle includes more bells and whistles then what most will want. You choose from any combination of a 2 MOA dot, 8 MOA ring, 20 MOA ring and a 32 MOA ring. This can be helpful for a new handgun optic user, who may struggle to find the dot quickly. A total of 6 daytime and 2 night vision adjustment settings give flexibility for ambient conditions.
