There’s two main schools of thought when it comes to picking an EDC handgun. On one side you have those that say you should go as small as possible and on the other you have those that say it needs to be big enough so that you could engage targets as efficiently as possible. The Glock 19 is a fine balance between the two. The 19 is going to be larger than other CCW options such as the Hellcat or P365. However, it is smaller than full size handguns such as the Glock 17 or P320. Some may even prefer to use the Glock 19 as a duty gun, especially if they have smaller hands and value the compact size.Â
The Gen 5 Glock 19 also comes with the option of being MOS (optic) cut. With all MOS handguns, multiple adapter plates are included so that the handgun can be fitted to nearly any optic. Our favorite pairing with the Glock 19 is the Trijicon SRO, Trijicon RMR or Holosun 407C.
