The Ruger SFAR is a unique take at a 7.62mm chambered AR patterned rifle. Most people just refer to these types of rifles as an “AR-10” which isn’t technically correct but close enough, for today’s standards. The SFAR is smaller compared to the other “AR-10” rifles which makes it far more maneuverable while not sacrificing heavily in other areas.
The SFAR features an adjustable gas block, which can be advantageous for getting the rifle tuned for various loads as well as suppressed operation. Currently we would believe that the SFAR is one of the best options for a fairly budget friendly “AR-10”, while not sacrificing on components. It is a good well rounded rifle.
