The Glock 17 has been the firearm of choice for law enforcement and militaries all over the world. The newest iteration of the Glock 17 is the 5th generation. With the 5th generation Glock removed the finger grooves for more versatility but still allows to easily customize its grip by using the different back straps. A flared mag-well and a cutout at the front of the frame result in quicker reloads. A reversible enlarged magazine catch, changeable at the user level as well as the ambidextrous slide stop lever make this a great option for right and wrong shooters. The rifling and the crown of the barrel were slightly modified for increased precision.
The Gen 5 Glock 17 also comes with the option of being MOS (optic) cut. With all MOS handguns, multiple adapter plates are included so that the handgun can be fitted to nearly any optic. Our favorite pairing with the Glock 17 is the Trijicon SRO, Trijicon RMR or Holosun 407C.
