The one piece design offers more rigidness as compared to a traditional two piece system. The Aero Precision Ultralight mount comes in at only 3.4oz and offers a tight and stable lock up.
The SPR variant of the Ultralight mounts is our favorite due to how far forward it mounts the optic. It is always best for an optic to be mounted to the receiver of a firearm and not on a handguard. With the SPR mount the optic can be mounted to the receiver but is pushed forward enough to achieve excellent eye relief.
