The Kel-Tec Sub 2000 is one of the most popular pistol caliber carbines (PCC) on the market. The Sub 2000 truly folds in half, all while maintaining a 16″ barrel length.
The Gen 3 variant addressed a major flaw with the gen 2 variants. The Gen 3 has a rotating handguard, which enables the shooter to mount an optic, while still utilizing the folding function of the Sub 2000. With 9mm being fairly inexpensive to shoot, a PCC can make a lot of sense, especially one as lightweight and compact as the Sub 2000.
