The WASR 10 is one of the most popular AK offerings in the United States. The WASR is manufactured in Romania by Cugir Arms Factory, who has been manufacturing firearms for decades. Generally speaking, Combloc countries make some of the best AKs available with many domestic offerings still working out the kinks of AK manufacturing.

The WASR features a chrome lined hammer forged barrel that is also threaded 14×1 LH. The wood stock and handguard provides a traditional AK look, that can easily be swapped out for aftermarket alternatives. The WASR is a good all around AK, striking a balance of price and quality.
