The Holosun Raid provides quite a bit for the price point. At nearly half the price of other domestically produced weapon lights the Raid is a good value proposition. At 80,000 candela and 1,000 lumens the Raid provides plenty of light out put for most applications. The included remote switch enable the user to set the light up at the most optimal position while also providing a level of redundancy with a tail cap that has integrated switching.Â
Both M-LOK and Pic rail mounts are included as well as a rechargeable 18650 battery. Is the Raid better than the other domestically produced weapon lights with comparable specs? Probably not, but for someone on a tight budget, this is a very hard light to beat.Â
