Holosun does a great job of being innovative while still offering very affordable optics. The DRS Thermal is a hybrid optic that utilizes thermal technology but still give the shooter access to a regular red dot system. If thermal is not needed, the optic can be configured to run as a regular red dot and when thermal is needed it can be quickly configured to run via thermal.
The thermal can be set up for white hot, black hot, outline or highlight modes. Thermal can be a huge advantage under the right conditions and it’s great to see this technology being fused together with a red dot system that is optimal for AR patterned rifles.
