The Bodyguard 2.0 is arguable one of the best firearms Smith & Wesson has released in recent years. Generally there is a trade off between concealability and shootability, somehow the Bodyguard managed to pull of both of these qualities, quite well. The 2.0 is truly leading the 380 pack.Â
However, there is no such thing as a free lunch. To design such a small framed handgun Smith & Wesson had to omit some desirable features. Due to how narrow the slide is, there is no optic variations of this handgun, they also had to omit an accessory rail. Both of those are important considerations, when choosing if this is the handgun for you.Â
