Springfield 1911 TRP .45ACP 5″ (8rd)

Traditionally the 1911 was a very basic handgun with nothing real exciting going for it. Many manufactures have set out to adapt a feature set to the 1911 platform that actually makes it a suitable duty grade firearm, in todays standards. Springfield did exactly that with TRP. The TRP really has about everything you would want in a 1911, with the exception of an optic cut. 

The TRP has very aggressive texturing along the grip as well as front slide serrations, that help with the overall handling of the handgun. A flared magwell helps to funnel mags during reloads and a railed frame provides plenty of space for a weapon light. This is a great all around 1911, especially if running an optic isn’t your thing.
