The Glock 47 has essentially replaced the Glock 17 MOS. The main difference between the 17 and the 47 is the shortened dust cover on the 47. The 47 also has better parts compatibility. Due to the shortened dust cover, the Glock 47 has parts compatibility with the 17, 19 and 45 Glocks.Â
The Glock 47 comes standard as MOS (optic cut). Included with the 47 is one adapter plate, which is compatible with RMR footprints such as the RMR, SRO, 407C, EPS, RCR. When utilizing the Holosun SCS optic, an adapter plate is not needed.Â
